Located in the Eastern Black Sea, the Storm Stream is approximately 58 Km. With its length, Rize  Ardesen's 2 – 2.5 Km. It pours into the Black Sea from the west. Located within the borders of Ardesen and Camlihemsin counties, the basin is one of the largest river basins of the Eastern Black Sea Region with a surface area of ​​1177.03 km². Storm Creek / Storm Valley river basin has been accepted as a natural protected area with its ecological structure and has been taken under protection.

Formed by the merging of the streams flowing from the slopes of the Kackar Mountains facing the Black Sea, the Storm Stream splits into many branches as it descends from the high hills and flows down the slopes of the mountain, forming many large and small lakes, ponds and waterfalls in the forest. The mountains rising like a wall from the seaside reach 3900 meters after a bird's flight distance of 35-40 km. With a height of 3932 meters, Kackar Mountain is the 4th largest peak of Turkey. Mountains of 1,500 meters and above are covered with dense fog almost every month of the year.

With its nature that is not enough to watch, the Storm Stream, which passes through the tea gardens decorated with pearl-like arch bridges, the rafting sport that has developed in recent years and the tracks suitable for rafting, the activities of the nature sports clubs have provided the opportunity for domestic and foreign tourists to do rafting. The region is also among the first places preferred by adrenaline and nature lovers.
